Canine coaching, Holistic Behaviour Training and Holistic therapies

 

Behavioural and one to one training or holistic therapy Consultations begin with an assessment questionnaire to allow us to gain as much information about your current circumstances and issues you may be having prior to meeting you in your home.

Holistic therapies such as Reiki, Crystal Healing, Sound therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, aromatherapy etc takes place in our dedicated treatment room, we can offer home appointments for those unable to travel or for those dogs who feel more secure in their own environment.

Initial coaching and behaviour training begins in the home environment to promote a stress free learning environment allowing you to begin to work on your bond and training techniques without distraction.  Issues which are experienced outside of the home such as reactivity, recall or pulling will then be addressed in a controlled environment outside of the home.

We supply a full training plan further to the initial assessment and meeting to allow continued learning at home.

The Barking Tricksters method of training is based upon mutual respect and communication, working as a team to improve your bond and value.  We only use positive reinforcement methods of training and will not at any point advocate the use of shouting, hitting, shock or spray collars, choke chains etc. preferring to encourage your dog to offer independent thought processing and choice in offering behaviours that we can mark and reward setting your dog up for successful training and learning.

We have experience of working with a variety of different dogs with different issues and will work with all ages and breeds of dogs from family pets to rescue dogs who may have suffered abuse or be shut down.
